Friday, April 25, was the very last week for students of 12th Grade studying at BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug, as they were set to face the final International Baccalaureate (IB) examination period from May 5 to May 22, 2014.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) programme is a program where the students deal more with practices than they do with theories Students are prepared to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, efective communicators, self directed learners, collaborative workers, and global citizens, so that later they will become mature academically, socially and emotionally. With IB programme, graduates of BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, Simprug will also have easy access to overseas universities that they are interested in attending.
To celebrate the last day for the 12th graders, BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug held DP Salute Day at Assembly Hall Simprug. It is a form of going-away event before their graduation day on June 9. DP Salute Day was attended by students from 10th Grade to 12th Grade, teachers, and the School Principal, Mr. Peter. Some students from Elementary grades and Middle School, were also involved in the event.
The event was made special with the talent performances from students, such as dancing and music performances, as well as orchestra performance from student elective class orchestra. All teachers and students seemed really excited and touched with this year’s DP Salute Day.
Hopefully with good preparation and revision, The 12th grade students of BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug can all pass their IB DP final exams with flying colors. (FG)
