The Personal Project is an independent research project that all students at International Baccalaureate schools undertake. It is designed to demonstrate the student’s ability to independently organize, create, and complete a significant body of work.
It provides an excellent opportunity for students to produce a truly personal and creative work of their choice through the lens of one of the six global contexts (Identities and relationships, Dimensions of time and space.Personal and cultural expression, Fairness and development, Scientific and technical innovation, and globalization and sustainability), and to demonstrate the skills they have developed through Approaches to Learning.
To bring the Personal Project to a close, students are given the opportunity to appear before a panel of teachers in deference of their project.
