Guided by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, we believe that every child has the right to protection from all forms of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
 

Duty of Care

Educators and staff at BINUS are in a unique position to observe students closely and identify when a child may be at risk. As part of our professional and ethical responsibilities, all members of the BINUS community are expected to take action when concerns arise. This includes teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, helpers, drivers, security personnel, and students.

The BINUS Child Protection Approach ensures:

  • A clear framework for identifying and reporting abuse or neglect

  • Ongoing training for staff on child safeguarding

  • Open communication and shared responsibility among all community members

  • Safe recruitment and adult conduct standards

  • Accessible pastoral care and student support systems
