11th grade students from BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug  is to  hold an event called BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug Art & Music Festival in October . In preparation for the festival, the students sought donations from their parents by inviting them to a gala  dinner on Friday (6/6).

Acting as the host for the dinner, the 11th grade students served the guests and prepared special performances to entertain the attending parents. More than 90 parents fulfilled the invitations and  were served by students who dressed in Indonesia’s traditional costumes. The theme Diversity used in this event symbolized the different cultures, backgrounds, and countries that the students are from , yet, they share the same goal in organizing BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug Art & Music Festival.

The highlight of the night was when Harvard Club Indonesia presented Harvard Book Prize  award to Ronaldo Yuliawan.

Through this event, it is hoped that students and parents can collaborate to make  the October 2014 event a successful one. (AL)
