{"id":8683,"date":"2018-03-16T20:57:07","date_gmt":"2018-03-16T13:57:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/simprug.binus.sch.id\/?p=8683"},"modified":"2018-03-16T20:57:07","modified_gmt":"2018-03-16T13:57:07","slug":"brain-tumor-survivor-gardyan-presents-self-created-program-to-neurologists-and-ui-professors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/simprug.binus.sch.id\/id\/2018\/03\/16\/brain-tumor-survivor-gardyan-presents-self-created-program-to-neurologists-and-ui-professors\/","title":{"rendered":"Brain Tumor survivor Gardyan presents self-created program to Neurologists and UI Professors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t<a href=\"http:\/\/simprug.binus.sch.id\/id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/03\/Gardyan1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-8684\" src=\"http:\/\/simprug.binus.sch.id\/id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/03\/Gardyan1-640x480.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jakarta, 16 March 2018 &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Gardyan (Class of 2018) a recovering brain tumor patient, presented his own program to a Symposium full of Neurologists and Universitas Indonesia (UI) Professors in Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta, during a Symposium for Neurology on 16 March, 2018.<br \/>\nGardyan was the only non-medical degree holder, and youngest person at the Symposium, to present to a room full of professionals.\u00a0 His project was a personal project close to his heart, something that also helped him and his Doctor analyze post-operation occurrences of pain during his recovery.<\/p>\n<p>The program, aptly named &#8220;Guardian&#8221;, enables patients to accurately record occurrences of pain, which would then be used by the patient&#8217;s doctor to perform an in-depth analysis and take necessary actions.<\/p>\n<p>During his presentation, Gardyan was accompanied by his doctor, and also invited BINUS SCHOOL Simprug Principal, Mr. Peter M Saidi, to the stage to acknowledge a few of his mentors.\u00a0 The innovation was applauded and was easily remembered by the majority of the attending neurologists when prompted with questions regarding Gardyan&#8217;s presentation.<\/p>\n<p>The innovation is the first achievement of its kind at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug, and is a testament to the creativity and capabilities of BINUS SCHOOL Simprug students.\u00a0<strong>-CT<\/strong>\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jakarta, 16 March 2018 &#8211;\u00a0Gardyan (Class of 2018) a recovering brain tumor patient, presented his own program to a Symposium full of Neurologists and Universitas Indonesia (UI) Professors in Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta, during a Symposium for Neurology on 16 March, 2018.
