Clubs & Electives

Some of the most meaningful learning at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug happens outside the regular timetable. With more than 50 clubs and over 20 electives spanning nine distinct focus areas, students are given extraordinary freedom to explore who they are, well beyond what any single classroom subject can offer.

A Focus Area for Every Passion

Clubs and electives at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug are organised around nine focus areas: the arts, music, sports, community and leadership, public relations, entrepreneurship, literature, humanitarian work, and STEM. Within these categories, students can find a genuine home for almost any interest, from Model United Nations and Junior Startup, to Coders Club, Writers Club, debating, theatre, and the school's own Culturific Club, which keeps Indonesian traditions such as Tari Jaipong and Tari Piring alive on campus.

Enrichment, Not Just Extracurricular

These programmes are intentionally designed as enrichment for what students are already learning in their daily classes, not simply a way to fill free time. Whether a student joins B-Link to explore entrepreneurship, Eco Club to engage with sustainability, or the School Orchestra to develop musicianship, each club and elective is built to deepen skills, spark new interests, and build genuine community across grade levels.

Building Character, Not Just a Resume

Engaging in clubs and electives helps students build leadership qualities, a sense of belonging, and the confidence to pursue their passions seriously, contributing meaningfully to the kind of principled, globally minded character the school aims to nurture in every student. Many of these activities have produced real results on the global stage, including gold and bronze medals at the World Scholar's Cup, hosted in cities such as Yale, proof that what begins as a co-curricular passion can become an extraordinary personal achievement.
