Global Networking
“Every Journey Matters” at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug is more than a tagline, it is something we live every day and a reflection of what makes the Simprug experience special. We bring it to life through our Journeys Programme, created to make every student’s journey meaningful.

Global & Immersion Opportunities
Learning Beyond Familiar Boundaries
We believe some of the most meaningful learning happens when students experience the world beyond the classroom.
Through local and international immersion opportunities, students encounter different cultures, communities, universities, and real-world environments. Experiences have included programmes in Japan, Australia, the United States, and Hong Kong–China, giving students opportunities to broaden their perspectives, explore future study possibilities, and connect classroom learning with authentic contexts.
Global learning also happens through international student forums. BINUS SCHOOL Simprug students have participated in initiatives such as the Asia-Pacific Young Leaders Summit (APYLS) and Asia-Pacific Young Leaders Convention (APYLC), where young people from different countries exchange perspectives on global issues and develop leadership through collaboration. Simprug has also hosted the International Young Leaders Summit (IYLS), bringing together students from countries including China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Indonesia.
Through these experiences, students are encouraged to:
- Make learning meaningful in context
- Grow through unfamiliar experiences
- Develop international-mindedness
- Explore future possibilities
- Learn through reflection
- Prepare for an interconnected future
As part of the Journeys Programme, global and immersion opportunities help students become more independent, reflective, adaptable, and confident, while developing a deeper understanding of their place in an increasingly connected world.
A Programme That Builds the Whole Student
From international university tours to global leadership events hosted on campus, including a Harvard Young Global Leaders Programme, students are continually given platforms to think beyond Indonesia's borders and imagine their place in the wider world. This is real-world learning and student agency in action: students don't simply study global citizenship, they practise it.

The Journeys Programme: Personalised Pathways to the World
Rather than a single fixed experience, global immersion at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug is shaped around each student's own interests and strengths. Through the Journeys Programme, students pursue personalised pathways that may include international immersions, internships, passion projects, entrepreneurship, and service, giving every learner real, demonstrable evidence of capability, not just a transcript.
