Growing Partnership with the French Embassy

In December 2025, the Journeys Department took a significant step forward by establishing a relationship with the French Embassy through the Institut Français Indonésie (IFI). This initiative was born from our commitment to nurturing student talents in creative fields such as Fashion Design, Cuisine, and Music.

The reception was incredibly warm. With the generous support of IFI, Journeys successfully hosted a Music Production Workshop in collaboration with SAE Institute Indonesia. This free program featured industry giants: Lawrence Philip, Indonesia’s only Certified Ableton Trainer, and Ezra Mandira, a professional audio producer. Students gained hands-on experience in electronic music and professional studio mixing. Furthermore, we held a Fashion Design Workshop led by Ms. Anisa, an alumna of the prestigious ESMOD France. These student creations were proudly showcased at SPARKFEST2026 on February 13th. We take immense pride in the event’s success, as it was truly an initiative by and for the students of BINUS SCHOOL Simprug.

Our international ties strengthened further with a visit from ESSCA School of Management, one of France’s top business schools. We were honored to host Mrs. Muriel Jacquelin (Director of International Affairs, ESSCA) and Mr. Gema Akbar Pratama (Deputy AttachΓ© for University Cooperation, IFI). Following this, our Journeys Team and Principal were invited to an exclusive private dinner hosted by the French Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Fabien Penone. Surrounded by representatives from Indonesia’s leading universities (UGM, ITB, BINUS University, and more), the evening felt like a true family gathering of innovators.

We look forward to deepening this bond, ensuring the Journeys Department continues to evolve and provide global-standard programs that meet our students’ passions in this ever-advancing world.
