SALUTE DAY OF BINUS SCHOOL SIMPRUG: FAREWELL AND SUPPORT TO THE NEW WORLD
Laughter and jokes within several years studying at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug were brought back to the Hall of BINUS SCHOOL Simprug in the 8th floor. The 12th grade students of Diploma Program (DP) relived their school life back then during their Early Years (EY), Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP), and DP class for the Salute Day of BINUS SCHOOL Simprug 2015.
Salute Day is the day where students of BINUS SCHOOL Simprug express their gratitude to their parents and teachers who had helped them during their learning process, from the day they entered the school until they graduated from high school. This Salute Day is also a form of appreciation from BINUS SCHOOL Simprug to all students who had studied hard and soon would face a new life in college. In short, this is a farewell party to the students of DP 12 for facing a new world.
Happiness and sadness could be seen among the students, especially when they showed their appreciation to their teachers one by one. Parents also looked moved and proud with their children who had already finished their high school. The event enlivened with students’ orchestra and ended with cutting tumpeng (cone-shaped rice with various side dishes) by Peter Matthew Saidi – the Principle of BINUS SCHOOL Simprug. He hoped that the graduates could walk further and be ready to face the real world. (LN)
