We are proud to be one of the few schools in Indonesia which offer under one roof all of the three internationally-recognised and world-renowned IB Programmes: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).

The Indonesian Department of Education also recognizes our international programmes.

BINUS SCHOOL Simprug is steered by a Board of Management with almost 40 years experience across all education levels (early childhood to university). Benefiting from the successful UNIVERSITY, BINUS SCHOOL Simprug brings together elements from the resource prowess of the BINA NUSANTARA organization. In particular, BINUS SCHOOL Simprug leverages the enormous IT infrastructure and resources that BINA NUSANTARA is well-known for.

Welcome to the new Academic Year, BINUSIANS!

Dear BINUS SCHOOL Simprug’s Students & Families,

My name is Isaac Koh. It is with great pleasure and excitement that I write this letter to officially welcome you in this new academic year as the new Principal of BINUS SCHOOL Simprug. I am honoured to be a part of this school where the community has dedicated, and talented members committed to doing what is the best interest of our students. Recently, I had wonderful opportunities to meet parents & students, as well as teaching & non-teaching colleagues. I can’t wait to continue to learn and delve into the uniqueness of BINUS SCHOOL Simprug.

My professional background is rooted in education, leadership, and counseling for more than 20 years. I started my journey in education as a teacher in one of the top school in Singapore, Hwa Chong Institution. My leadership role in Hwa Chong Institution grew from being a teacher, Subject Head, Head of Department, and soon expanded to a school-wide scope when I took on the position as Director/Organisational Development, and later Director/Faculties. I was then invited to provide consultancy support for BINUS SCHOOL Serpong in its beginning years, followed by the opportunity to become its Principal. Due to some personal matters that needed my urgent attention back home, I was back with Hwa Chong Institution, working with a special programme that prepares students for Oxbridge as well as Ivy League Universities. We are known to be the top school outside of UK that successfully placed students into Oxbridge.

Here I am now returning to Indonesia, where I feel both elated and honored to lead BINUS SCHOOL Simprug. Aligning with the school vision to foster and empower, my wish is to see a school that benefits many, that rewards a wide variety of talents who values & celebrates all individuals for who they are, what they can achieve, to open up opportunities and champion a better future. To pursue these, there are 3 important things that I am focusing on: shared values, personalised excellences, and community of learners. With these essentials, I believe every individual in this school will experience a meaningful journey at every stage and be proud to be a part of this school’s community. Here is my commitment. I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and all of the community.

As Principal, my door is always open to you, and I sincerely welcome your input and support. Because the relationships between each family and the school are vital to the success of our students, so I encourage you to become involved in every way possible. Together we will accomplish for our children and celebrating our collective success in this school year.
