International Singapore Maths Competition

Aims to encourage the young students to compete at the international level. It also helps to identify the best talents among students. ISMC Ccreates excitement and enthuasiasm in mathematics amongs students. Over 12.000 students from 24 countries are expected to take part in the competition this year. This is also gateaway to the World Mathematics Invitational (WMI). Each school enters as many students as they wish and the ISMC Trophy is awarded to thewinning school each year.
Every ISMC paper has twent-five questions. The test duration is 1 hour. While there exists a healthy competitive spirit, emphasis is on providing opportunities to build confidence, motivation and joy of mathematics.
