BINUS SCHOOL Simprug is proud to share the amazing success of its Grade 11 student, Teuku Rifat Harsya. Rifat recently won two gold medals in Equestrian at PON XXI 2024, held in Aceh and North Sumatra (Sumut).

On 17th September 2024, at Jericho Stable, North Sumatra, Teuku Rifat Harsya secured his first gold medal in the U-21 team dressage event, competing alongside M. Akbar Kurniawan and Claresta Amantha Kamsari. Dressage is a sport that tests the precision and control of both rider and horse, and Rifat’s team worked seamlessly to claim the top position.
Rifat then went on to win a second gold in the U-21 team jumping event, which challenges riders to guide their horses over obstacles. Partnering with M. Akbar Kurniawan and Aisha Medyna Hakim, the team displayed excellent coordination, earning another victory for Jakarta.
