From Early Years to Global Readiness: Novak’s Journey of Growth at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug
Having been part of BINUS SCHOOL Simprug since Early Years and now continuing his learning in the Diploma Programme, Novak’s story reflects a student development pathway built over time. His recent achievement on an international cultural stage is not simply a moment of recognition, but a meaningful reflection of how long-term learning can shape academic responsibility, personal confidence, and global readiness.

Novak’s growth at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug has developed through years of guided learning, from his earliest school experiences to the more independent and challenging stage of the Diploma Programme. Learning alongside classmates from many different nationalities and cultural backgrounds throughout his years at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug, Novak grew accustomed to a school life where diversity is part of everyday interaction, a familiarity that would later prove valuable when he stepped onto an international stage himself.

Representing Cultural Identity on a Global Stage
From 1–7 June 2026, Novak participated in Culture International Pageantry 2026 in Jakarta, an international platform that celebrates global diversity, heritage, youth advocacy, and cultural expression. The event brought together participants from various countries, including Ethiopia, Canada, the United Kingdom, India, Malaysia, and others. Representing his Serbian heritage, Novak joined the event as a 16-year-old participant and earned recognition as Best Talent Mister Teen Culture International 2026. During the talent showcase, he performed a modern Serbian folk song, sharing a part of his cultural identity with confidence among participants who presented traditional dances, speeches, and other cultural performances.
As this was his first experience in this kind of event, the opportunity allowed Novak to step into a new environment, connect with peers from different backgrounds, and present himself on an international stage. It became a meaningful moment of personal growth, cultural pride, and global exposure.
Balancing Academic Commitment and Real-World Experience
What made this achievement even more significant was the timing. Novak participated in the event while also managing his final examination period, requiring focus, discipline, and careful time management.
