Arundati Shines Bright on Indonesia’s Biggest Gymnastics Stage

At just Grade 3, BINUS SCHOOL Simprug young gymnast, Arundati, has already made a name for herself in Indonesia’s gymnastics scene. Competing at the Indonesia Open Gymnastics 2025, the country’s most prestigious and competitive gymnastics event, Arunda secured gold in the all-around category at Level 3 and placed within the top 10 overall! A remarkable feat for such a young athlete.

This year’s Indonesia Open saw 1,372 gymnasts from 15 provinces and 80 clubs competing across five disciplines: Artistic, Rhythmic, Trampoline, Aerobic (held in Jakarta), and Parkour (held in Bandung). The event was not just a competition—it was a celebration of sportsmanship, unity, and talent development. Athletes, coaches, and judges danced together during the closing ceremony, reflecting the positive and inclusive atmosphere of the championship.

The event is part of Indonesia’s broader journey toward hosting the Gymnastics World Championships 2025 in Jakarta. According to the Federasi Gimnastik Indonesia (FGI), the Indonesia Open plays a crucial role in talent identification and grassroots development, especially among young gymnasts like Arunda.
