From Curiosity to Confidence: Soyul’s Journey with the Flute
For Soyul, a student at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug, her journey with the flute began with a simple moment: hearing her mother’s friend’s daughter play. The sound was so beautiful and calming that it instantly caught her attention. That moment sparked her curiosity, and from there, she decided to try learning the flute herself in Grade 5.
As she began her journey, Soyul didn’t just explore music casually. With support from our teachers at school, she was encouraged to take her interest seriously and develop it further. Through the guidance and learning environment at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug, which allowed students to grow their passions, Soyul started building her confidence step by step.
Her journey wasn’t instant. As a perfectionist, she practiced consistently, challenged herself, and kept improving. In the environment we provide, she learned that growth comes from patience, consistency, and the courage to keep trying. Taking it further, Soyul chose to step onto a bigger stage by joining a competition. Standing in front of many people was not easy but it became a moment where her journey truly came to life.
With support from her family and our school community, Soyul stayed calm, focused, and confident. At that moment, everything she had practiced came together. Through this experience, Soyul discovered something meaningful:
