Stepping Into the World Stage: Students’ Experience at MUN 2026

What does it feel like to represent a country and speak on global issues? For students at BINUS SCHOOL Simprug, that journey began even before the conference started. In preparing for Model United Nations (MUN) 2026, students stepped into a new way of learning, one that challenged them to think beyond the classroom.

The journey started with research and preparation. Students explored their assigned countries, learned about global issues, and began shaping their arguments. Throughout this process, our teachers guided them in building ideas, structuring their thoughts, and expressing their opinions with confidence. At the same time, we created a supportive environment where students felt encouraged to ask questions, discuss openly, and learn from one another.

With this support, students entered the conference with more than just knowledge they brought confidence. As the sessions began, they stepped into the role of delegates, delivering speeches, responding to different perspectives, and working together to find solutions. The room quickly filled with discussions, negotiations, and collaboration.

Representing BINUS SCHOOL Simprug were:

[Harvard World Model United Nations]

Nolan, Class of 2029, Most Outstanding Delegate

Riyom, Class of 2030, Most Outstanding Delegate

Raphaella, Class of 2031, Best Verbal Commendation

[JIS Model United Nations]

Vedant, Class of 2029, Verbal Commendation

Ayasofya, Class of 2030, Verbal Commendation

Each moment became part of their journey, learning to stay calm, think critically, and communicate clearly. We don’t just prepare students for the classroom, we prepare them to find their voice. And through experiences like MUN, they take their first steps into the world.
