Hosting SASMO 2026 in a Learning Environment of Excellence
BINUS SCHOOL Simprug was once again selected as the host school for the Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO) 2026, welcoming approximately 418 participants from 55 schools to its campus for one of Asia’s respected mathematics competitions.
This continued trust reflects the school’s consistent experience in supporting international academic programmes within a well-established and structured learning environment. Hosting SASMO is not a one-time assignment, it is a responsibility typically entrusted to schools that demonstrate stability, organisation, and familiarity with global academic standards.

An International Learning Environment Built Through Experience
As an international school community, BINUS SCHOOL Simprug has long engaged with academic platforms that extend beyond the classroom. This sustained involvement has shaped a learning environment that is familiar with the expectations, discipline, and structure required in global academic events. This experience is reflected in the way the school prepares for and executes large-scale academic programmes such as SASMO, where precision, coordination, and academic readiness are essential.
At the centre of this environment is the experience of our educators. Our Teachers bring strong academic expertise into the classroom, guiding students to develop structured thinking, apply multiple problem-solving strategies, and build confidence in handling unfamiliar mathematical challenges. This consistent instructional approach is what enables students to not only understand concepts deeply, but also perform effectively in competitive academic settings beyond the school.
Student Achievement as a Continuation of Learning Excellence
This year’s SASMO 2026 further reflects the outcome of this learning system, with 21 students from Grade 1 to Grade 11 receiving recognition across Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Honorable Mention categories.

From early primary learners beginning their first experience in academic competition to secondary students engaging with advanced problem-solving, these achievements demonstrate continuity between classroom learning and external academic performance made possible through consistent teaching quality and structured academic preparation over time.
SASMO 2026 represents a continuation of how BINUS SCHOOL Simprug is consistently entrusted with international academic platforms, and how its students continue to perform within them driven by an experienced learning environment and guided academic practice.
